Denied payout after passing the evaluation and trading a funded account
I purchased a challenge from Crypto Fund Trader, successfully completed the evaluation, and was granted a funded account. During the entire evaluation process, my trading activity was accepted by CFT. I passed the challenge, received a funded account, traded it, and generated profits. Everything appeared to be completely fine until I requested my first payout. At that point, CFT informed me that my $7,325 profit would not be paid because, after reviewing my “overall profile”, “evaluation activity”, “interview”, and “overall suitability”, they had decided that I did not meet their internal program standards. The problem is that no concerns were ever raised before the payout request. I was allowed to: * Purchase the challenge. * Successfully complete the evaluation. * Receive a funded account. * Trade the funded account. * Generate profits. Only after CFT became obligated to pay those profits did my trading suddenly become “unsuitable”. I repeatedly asked CFT to identify the specific section of their published Terms & Conditions that I had allegedly violated. Despite several emails, they never identified a specific rule. Instead, they continued referring to general concepts such as “overall suitability”, “program standards”, and “evaluation activity”, without pointing to any concrete breach of their published rules. It is also worth mentioning that the funded trade which generated the disputed profits was opened with a predefined stop loss from the very beginning. The maximum predefined risk was approximately 2% on a $200,000 funded account, while the account’s published limits allowed a 5% Daily Drawdown and, in my case, a 12% Maximum Drawdown after purchasing the available add-on. CFT eventually refunded only the cost of the evaluation account, more than one month after buy, but still refused to pay the $7,325 earned on the funded account. Finally, after informing CFT that I intended to publish a factual account of my experience supported by documentation, their final response included a warning that any public statements they considered false, misleading, or defamatory could be referred to their legal team for review. For that reason, I have written this review carefully and limited it to facts that are supported by my correspondence with CFT. Every trader can draw their own conclusions, but my personal experience was that passing the evaluation, receiving a funded account, and trading profitably did not guarantee that legitimately earned profits would actually be paid. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Crypto Fund Trader. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing one of their challenges to thoroughly research other traders’ experiences, carefully review their Terms & Conditions, and think twice before investing their money. My own experience has shown that even passing the evaluation, receiving a funded account, and trading profitably did not result in my payout being approved.
Thank you
Thank you, it's another great day, my withdrawal request was processed.
